A Healing Place for a Hurting World

Healing Place Church has been built on the vision to be a healing place for a hurting world. Pastors Dino and DeLynn Rizzo and the staff at HPC have a passion to express Christ through creative means. God has brought together an incredible team to express his love in practical ways. Community outreaches and missions' projects of every kind are just a couple of the ways that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared with countless individuals. HPC is reaching out to the lost and hurting of this world. Filled with compassion and offering hope to the poor, oppressed, and forgotten, HPC is a healing place for a hurting world.

HPC hosts several events in the Baton Rouge area each year. All events are free of charge to the participants and include free food, rides, prizes, and activities for all ages. HPC also takes an active role during the holiday seasons by partnering with other local churches and organizations and distributing food and Christmas gift baskets to the needy families of the Baton Rouge area.

Servant Evangelism is an important part of ministry at HPC. It exists to show the love of God to people in practical ways. Servant Evangelism teams minister to people by mowing lawns, cleaning yards, helping families move, and by passing out everything from bubble gum on the LSU campus to cold drinks on a hot summer day.

In response to our need for more room for ministry, HPC took on the addition of the Annex Campus in the Barringer Foreman Technology Park on Airline Highway across from the Kleinpeter milk plant. The Annex Campus is the location of our weekend Annex services as well as our Wednesday night student ministry meetings.

HPC has established other campuses birthed out of a heart to be a healing place for a hurting world: 2 Dream Center Campuses in Donaldsonville, LA, 1 Dream Center Campus in downtown Baton Rouge, the St Amant Campus in St. Amant, LA, and the St. Francisville Campus in St. Francisville, LA. We also have an extended network campus outside of the Baton Rouge area in Danville, California (Danville Campus) and 2 international campuses in Swaziland and Mozambique, Africa. All of these were started as an extension of the passion of Healing Place Church to reach out to all people with the love of God.

Worldwide Ministry:

Healing Place Church has been influential in supporting numerous worldwide mission efforts, including sending teams to Honduras, the Philippines, Russia, Mexico, Africa, Ireland, Peru, and India and remains committed to the support of orphanages and schools for children with AIDS in Mozambique and Swaziland, Africa.

Weekly Services:

Healing Place Church has 13 services on the weekends in the Baton Rouge area. Friday services are held at 7:00pm at the Donaldsonville Dream Center (East Campus). Saturday service is held at 5:00pm at the Highland Campus and 5:00pm at the St. Amant Campus (English speaking). Sunday services are held at 8:00am, 10:00am, and 12:00pm at the Highland Campus, 9:00am and 11:00am at the Annex Campus, 10:30am at the Donaldsonville Dream Center Campus (West Campus), 10:00am at the St. Francisville Campus, and 8:00am (English speaking), 10:00am and 12:00pm at the St. Amant Campus (Spanish speaking). Sunday service times for our extended network campus is 10:15am at the Danville Campus. Capacity at our Highland Campus is 1,200 and combined total of our 4 other Baton Rouge area campuses is 1,400.

HPC's Highland Campus also has a Wednesday evening service at our 7:00pm. The Donaldsonville Dream Center's midweek service is also held Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm (West Campus).

Future:

Healing Place Church continues to look for new ways to reach the world for Christ. Construction is underway for the new Healing Place Church Arena slated to be complete in 2009.
