Upward Basketball Camp

Camino de Vida hosted its first ever basketball international basketball camp.  With the help of Healing Place Church (Baton Rouge, LA) and a staff of coaches and volunteers from there, the group was able to minister to more than 150 children from Lima and over 80 basketball coaches from different part of Peru.  All of the this was done with the goal to evangelize and witness to those in attendance the love of Christ.

On Friday, there was a closing ceremony at Camino de Vida church where the children came with their parents as well as the coaches and their families. During the ceremony their heard an evangelistic message, and an altar call was given with many of the children, parents, and coaches came forward to accept Christ as Savior for the first time.
